My girlfriend and I moved into our new apartment. And I fucking love it. It took me 2 years to realize this desire of mine. Since graduating from college and moving home, the phrase “I need some space” couldn’t have been more evident in my life.
It is a lovely apartment complete with arched entrance ways to each room, and by each room I mean the kitchen and living room. We started the move yesterday at 8am, with our 10ft budget truck, and did not complete unpacking that truck until about 11:45. That was rough, especially because it was raining. Then after returning the truck to a place about 40 min away we had to drive back in our cars to continue unpacking the rest of our stuff, which occupied the entirety of both of our vehicles. Finally at 5 o’clock, I finished completely unpacking my car.
Our living room looks like a giant garage sale.
There is a ton, and I literally mean a ton of unpacking to do, on top of building a lot of furniature. But I feel really amazing about this and am extatic to finally have my own place.
Life is fucking grand.
Keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming Easy Company EP. Seriously, they’re so good.

Living in my apartment.
Things I’m not looking forward to: “moving” into my apartment, building everything from Ikea, and getting the internets set up.
Started dating my gf over 2 years ago. We’re looking for apartments together this weekend. People can say what they want, but I don’t think anyone is ever “completely happy”. I think tho, for the moment, I’m as close to “completely happy” as a person could possibly get, while having to deal with real life.
I won’t lie, I’m a bit apprehensive about it, I mean who wouldn’t be? But I really think everything is going to work out splendidly. I won’t see as much of my friends, as moving to westchester, is about 45min from where they live, but I know I can maintain the relationships, we’ll see if they can too.
I think it will all work out, and I think it will all work out well.
Even though I’ve been out of college for almost 2 years, I don’t think anyone can really say that you’e started your own life, until you move out of your parents house. That being said, I’m really fucking looking forward to ‘starting life’.
If you honestly haven’t spent a whopping $5 on Aziz Ansari’s new stand up special, Dangerously Delicious, you are missing out big time.
